1. As a sintering solvent, instead of limestone for recycling

And the main advantage of returning steel slag to blast furnace as solvent is to use CaO in slag to replace limestone, saving solvent consumption. The firing rate of Portland cement clinker is 1400°C, while the formation temperature of steel slag is above 1500°C. The formation temperature of steel slag is high, the crystallization is compact, and the hydration rate is slow. With steel slag as the main component, a certain amount of gypsum and other admixtures are added to support the hydraulic cementitious material after grinding, which is called steel slag cement. At the same time, dispersing enough steel slag into the cement base material can improve the conductivity of concrete. This kind of conductivity and potential sensitivity make it have a very wide range of uses.

4. Improve the pH of the land and restore the environment

Traditionally, lime is mainly used to adjust the pH value of the soil, but there are also some other problems in long-term use, which may cause the imbalance of magnesium, potassium, calcium and other elements and affect plant growth.
