Working Principle
The Rod Mill is a horizontal rotating cylinder, which is filled with steel rods as grinding media. When the cylinder rotates, the steel rods are lifted by the lining plate and fall down, generating impact and grinding force on the materials. The materials enter the cylinder from the feeding end, are crushed and ground by the steel rods. The qualified materials are discharged from the discharging end. Because the steel rods are in line contact with the materials, the grinding is more uniform, and there is less over-grinding phenomenon.
