Ghana holds abundant feldspar mineral deposits in inland mountainous zones, and local ceramic tile, daily ceramic and glass processing factories are expanding production scale year by year. Feldspar powder is the core inorganic raw material for ceramic body, glaze and glass melting, yet local mineral processing equipment was backward before cooperation, most factories imported finished feldspar powder from overseas with very high transportation cost and unstable supply cycle. To realize local self-supply of ceramic raw materials and reduce overall production cost, the client cooperated with us to build a full-process feldspar grinding station equipped with MTW European trapezium mill.
Our technical team collected local feldspar ore samples and carried out hardness, fusibility and fineness matching tests. We selected upgraded MTW European trapezium mill as core grinding equipment, which features reinforced grinding roller assembly and optimized air flow classification structure. Instead of long-term full-load 26t/h operation, we calibrated daily stable output at 15 tons per hour. Gentle and balanced load operation effectively reduces abrasion of grinding rollers, ring liner and blade parts, extending spare parts replacement cycle and cutting annual factory maintenance expenditure.
The factory adopts dual-shift working mode widely used by local medium-sized processing plants. Two separate 8-hour production shifts run every working day, with one hour reserved for equipment residue cleaning, lubrication and full safety inspection. Under steady 15t/h continuous production state, around 240 tons of high whiteness qualified feldspar fine powder can be produced each day. Powder fineness can be flexibly adjusted between 120 mesh and 600 mesh to meet different fineness standards required by ceramic glaze, glass raw material and refractory material manufacturers.

The whole feldspar grinding line adopts compact horizontal layered layout, matching independent raw ore feeding silo and sealed finished powder storage silo to realize automatic enclosed production without manual material transfer. All core grinding host, conveying pipelines, sealing accessories, pulse dust removal unit and touch screen PLC control system are delivered as one complete full set, so the client does not need to source any separate auxiliary matching parts locally. Two senior field technical engineers from our team traveled to the project site to supervise equipment hoisting, pipeline docking and full-line stable commissioning, and the whole grinding line reached formal profitable production within 21 days after all cargo arrived at the port.
