Products Description

Single‑tube rotary cooler is a key supporting equipment matched with rotary kiln, mainly used to cool high‑temperature clinker discharged from rotary kiln. The high‑temperature material (about 1000‑1200℃) enters the cooler and moves slowly with the rotation of the cylinder, realizing sufficient heat exchange with natural air, so as to reduce the material temperature below 200℃.

Compared with grate cooler, single‑tube rotary cooler features simple structure, low failure rate, low investment cost and convenient maintenance, which is widely used in small and medium‑sized cement, active lime, mineral processing and metallurgical production lines. It can effectively recover waste heat, improve clinker quality and reduce energy consumption of the whole production line.

Working Principle

Working Principle of Single‑tube Rotary Cooler (Rotary Clinker Cooler)

The single‑tube rotary cooler is installed with a small inclination angle. Driven by the motor and reducer, the cylinder rotates slowly. High‑temperature clinker enters the cylinder from the feed end, moves to the discharge end under the action of gravity and rotation. Natural air enters from the discharge end and flows opposite to the material. After full counter‑current heat exchange, the clinker is cooled to low temperature, and the hot air after heat exchange returns to the rotary kiln for combustion supporting, realizing waste heat recycling.
