Bellian Rotary Dryer is a widely used industrial drying equipment in cement plants. It is used for drying various materials with high moisture content such as limestone, clay, slag and coal. Working Principle
The rotary dryer is a slightly inclined horizontal rotating cylinder. Wet materials are fed into the higher end of the cylinder. As the cylinder rotates, the materials are lifted and scattered by the lifting plates inside the cylinder, increasing the contact area with hot air. Hot air enters the cylinder from the lower end (or higher end according to different drying methods) and flows through the materials, evaporating the moisture. The dried materials are discharged from the lower end, and the wet air is discharged through the dust collector.
