Bellian Air Slide Conveyor, also known as air chute, is a pneumatic conveying equipment used for horizontal transportation of dry powdery materials. It uses low-pressure air to fluidize the materials, making them flow like liquid along the inclined chute. Our air slide conveyor has no moving parts, which means no wear, low maintenance cost and long service life. It is widely used in cement plants, power plants and other industries for transporting cement powder and fly ash.
Working Principle
The air slide conveyor mainly consists of upper and lower casings separated by a porous air-permeable layer. Low-pressure air is blown into the lower casing by a fan, and passes through the porous layer to fluidize the materials in the upper casing. The fluidized materials flow down the inclined chute (usually 3-10°) under the action of gravity. The whole transportation process is closed, no dust leakage, and the energy consumption is very low.
