Bellian Impeller Feeder, also known as rotary airlock valve or star feeder, is a common discharging and feeding equipment used in dust collection systems and pneumatic conveying systems. It can discharge materials uniformly and continuously, and at the same time play the role of airlock to prevent air from entering the system. Our impeller feeder adopts high-quality cast iron or stainless steel casing, which has stable operation, good sealing performance and long service life.
Working Principle
The impeller feeder mainly consists of casing, impeller rotor, driving device and inlet/outlet. The impeller rotor has multiple blades that divide the casing into several chambers. When the machine works, the driving device drives the impeller rotor to rotate. Materials enter the chambers from the inlet and are discharged from the outlet as the rotor rotates. The rotating impeller forms a seal between the inlet and outlet, preventing air from flowing through.
